My Last National Dance Competition
This past summer was my last time competing at a national dance competition. It's crazy that after fifteen years of dancing, it was my last time competing.
I never thought I would be one of those "Sorority girls" but I am now. Click the icon to read more about this experience.
Finding The Beautiful BFFs
Along with moving schools, enters many new people. I'm so excited to go on this college journey with these gorgeous girls.
Seeing Drew Again
One of my favorite people to see in concert came to Carbondale! You'll read more about him later.
Gold High Key Quay Australia Sunglasses
As you can probably see by my Instagram, I wear these sunglasses literally everywhere. I have not given another pair of sunglasses a second look because the word 'obsessed' is does not even explain how much I love these.
If you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen the amount of off-the-shoulder shirts I wore. I just absolutely love them.
To me, bell sleeves are just so fun. I'm glad they are still in style because I would probably still wear them, even if they weren't.
Boutiques & Stores
While I have always loved Maurices, I actually had the privilege of working at one for a while. I am amazed by how amazing this company is and I love everything that they stand for.
Glamour Farms never ceases to serve the cutest 'down home' style clothing with several unique twists. No wonder I always come back to them.
Luca & Grae
A newer online store by two of my favorite social media influencers, this store is not like others. The style is unique to Aspyn and if you follow her, than you need no further explanation of how cute their clothes are.
This is one of my favorite apps to link to my Instagram. It helps establish a feed that is aesthetically pleasing and if you want, can help create a theme.
This app makes finding and shopping the Instagram outfits of your favorite fashion people so much easier. All you do is like, screenshot, and then shop the outfit on the app.
This is my favorite photo editor app. It's very user friendly and has several cool features to help your pictures look their best.
Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Album
I have been a HALSEY fan since before she was popular and her music just keeps getting better. This new album was on repeat all year.
Him & I
This collab with G-Eazy & Halsey has been been playing constantly since it came out only a few weeks ago.
This song is my number one played song on my phone and as soon as you hear it, you'll know why.
This may be one of the funniest movies ever. If you know me, I watch the original Bad Moms all the time, and this is almost as good.
Nevermind, this might be the funniest. Something about all of the sarcastic comments by Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron keeps me laughing the whole time.
Beauty and the Beast
While at first I was nervous about it not being as good as the original, it was actually really good.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturizer
My skin has taken a weird turn this year, and changed from oily to dry over night. This is my new favorite moisturizer that leaves my skin super smooth and feeling amazing.
Benefit IT'S POTENT Eye Cream
College brings long study nights and saggy eyes the next morning but this eye cream makes all the difference. You can practically see the dark circles disappear before your eyes.
Boscia Pore Pudding Masck
Out of all the masks I have tried, this is one that I can always rely on. It's a little on the pricey side but it lasts forever, which can help justify the price.
Guerlain L'Or Radiance Primer
Let me tell you, the price of this primer is through the roof, but I can't help but include it in my favorites. Every single time I use this primer, I have a good makeup day.
Wet n Wild Foundation
On the complete opposite end of the price spectrum, this foundation can even compete with my high-end foundations at a price of only $5.
This is probably one of the most full coverage concealers I have ever tried. And the name rings true, those dark under-eyes are gone the second you put even the tiniest bit of this on.
Way to Grow Shampoo & ConditionerNot Your Mother's Brand is known for affordable hair care and I absolutely love all of their stuff. I recently discovered this hair combo & I'm obsessed.
Plump For Joy Dry Shampoo
I thought I used a lot of dry shampoo in high school, but I use even more now in college. And it's amazing.
If you haven't hopped on the Wet brush bandwagon yet, I suggest you do so, especially if your hair is anything like mine. Forget spending money on detangling sprays and combs. This brush is perfect right after you get out of the shower.
This girl's is full of grace & beauty and her inspiring words always bring a smile to my face.
Life's Candy Jar
Sister of one of my favorite Makeup Guru's & Youtuber's, this girl's got some of the best fashion finds around.
Laura Beverlin is one of the most adventurous fashion bloggers I have found and I love reading all of her fashion tips & seeing where she goes next.
Aspyn & Parker
Aspyn and Parker are some of my favorite people to watch. This couple travels the world, makes videos about their travels, and even own their own fashion company "Luca & Grae" that I have featured many times.
The creator of one of my makeup favorites has gained over 4M subscribers and for good reason. If you watched just one of her videos, you'd understand. I also very much enjoy having her on snapchat because she cracks me up.
I love watching her videos because she is the same age as I am and she totally relates to all of the crazy things college life brings. I absolutely love all of her fashion videos too. She definitely understands the fashion-on-a-budget ideal.
Places I Visited
I have grown up going to Navarre beach and I honestly would never trade my time there for anywhere else. I love the exclusivity & beauty that the tiny town in the FL panhandle has to offer. This year we also got to experience a tropical storm for two weeks.
Seaside is one of the most picture-perfect places in Florida. The colorful beach houses and beautiful town square look like it's straight out of a movie. Because...well, it is. The movie 'The Truman Show' took place in Seaside, so you if you've ever seen the movie, you'd understand what I'm talking about.
This isn't really somewhere that I would ever think about going to, but having a national dance competition is a good excuse to go. And surprisingly, it was actually fun and kind of pretty. The canal & downtown was super cool too.
I'll be here, still writing for y'all. I have lots of new ideas planned and I can't wait to share. Have a happy, exciting, joy-filled, and fashionable new year.
